About the Item

The first 500 of this very first lightsaber were produced in the USA (Pennsylvania) while the remaining 2,000 were made in China. There are many visual tells that distinguish the USA version: the shine on the copper paint on the neck, the width of the rings, and the art sleeve that says "USA Made." The USA version also does not carry the "Made in China" copyright. Aside from the first 500 of this lightsaber and the very first Han Solo A New Hope blaster, all Master Replicas models were produced in China after the shift — making this an extremely rare find. Note: the number on the plaque has no association with the first 500; numbered plaques were issued randomly. Complete set includes the original lightsaber, art clip box, art sleeve, original envelope and inserts, original numbered plaque, and original certificate of authenticity.
